It is 11.15pm, all the boats moored at Little Thetford are in 'lights-out' mode when this crew of Muppets arrive and proceed to pass the moorings, shout at friends on the bank, who answered them of course, wave torches about and then wind their boat with full shouted commentary and accompanying engine revs. They then get stuck on the far bank and have to pole it off ensuring that we all have a detailed live commentary on their activities. The mobile-loud-hailer stationed on the boat roof then spots a likely place to moor, and amid shouts of 'will it fit, won't it fit, yeah, no, maybe', they succeed and get moored in the only space available, button to button with Yarwood.
Then our anti-social neighbours, having been asked by Himself what the **** they think they are doing at this hour, reduce the shouted instructions and moonlight commentary to a mere loud conversation level and continue in this manner until after 2am.
Himself managed to get back off to sleep
I didn't...and I am not impressed.
