An exploratory walk this morning along the River Ock, one of the thirty eight tributaries of the Thames, which flows into the Thames at Abingdon had my two Labradors in ecstasy but they were also joined in their watery games by a very enthusiastic pair of Border Collies, Meg and Penny, from Nb. No Problem. Penny proved to be a very accomplished swimmer and all round water baby...an honorary Labrador almost.
Are you coming in?
Fletcher, Floyd Penny and Meg. Just splashing about in the river!

Walking back to our respective boats through the town and a group of Morris Dancers are preparing to entertain.
Even their dog is be-ribboned
With the dogs exercised we hurried back, via a pint in The Punchbowl, me to make a peach and butterscotch upside down pudding for dessert and Sue to help Vic finish the Sunday Roast we were all going to share.
And a very nice lunch it was too.
Glad to see you haven't let Vic bully you into making him an apple crumble as well-he will if he thinks he can get away with it!
ReplyDeleteWill that be the 4:3 diet next week? xx
Hi J
ReplyDeleteVic a bully? I don't think so, but you might be right about a 4:3 diet!
