Rubbing Strakes

Build Day 10

We arrived at Lambon Boats yesterday afternoon to find Steve and Ian tacking the last rubbing strake to the bow.

Applying a bit of leverage and brute force 


10' tug deck now in place

  3. Guard 'irons' were applied to wooden boats - 'STEEL' rubbing strakes are the norm for the the modern build boats.
