Carol and Samantha Elwood of Limekiln Chandlers spliced our rope set for Yarwood, two 4 metre lines, two 8 metre (River ) lines and a twenty metre centre line. We collected and delivered the lines to Barnowl Narrowboats yesterday.
On today's visit Stuart had set the marble hearth and tiled the fire back
The floor boards from the back cabin had been traditionally raddled (red) painted
Joe had been at Barnowl today painting a second coat of blacking on the starboard side and the stern (above)
Peter had finished wrapping the silencers on the generator.

Nice lot of storage I see. It is certainly looking very different from Caxton.

ReplyDeleteYes there is a lot of storage built into Yarwood - it makes for tidier living - if it has a home etc. ...

In that low down galley view: beautiful wood!
ReplyDelete(And now I know how the fire tiles work)
