We moored up on the services and emptied cassettes etc., had a cuppa, wrote a note and pinned it on the services gateway congratulating the lazy dog owner who fails to clear up after his/her dog. The place is smothered in dog shite and I bet I wouldn't lose any money if I were to bet that the dog lived on the boat that is always moored adjacent to the water point..but perhaps I am being unfair ??
I feel another little old complaint to BW coming on....
Anyway, back to Yarwood.
Servicing
I walked back so I could exercise the dogs and get some photo's of Yarwood
Looks fantastic, do the boys like their new home?
ReplyDeletePaul
Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThanks Paul. The boys are happy as long as they are with us. They are getting used to the different access/egress arrangements but food, beds, walks, food, more food, more walks oh, and more food seems to satisfy their needs quite well. Not too different to us really apart from our liking for beer, wine, more beer and more wine...

Thanks Bob.
ReplyDeleteWe have got a berth sorted for Caxton down at the Kingfisher Marina Yardley Gobian, only 15mins drive from MK. They will charge me on a month by month basis which will work out well, Russ is also very happy with his weekender!
ReplyDeleteWow she looks fantastic. Both you and Joe must be over the moon. Have many happy hours of cruising and hopefully we will see you at some point. xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Lesley and Joe, Yarwood looks great on the water, a lovely looking boat you must both be so pleased with. Hope to meet up sometime this year on the cut, James and Doug
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful, deserves to be in a magazine article. A youtube video would be nice too
ReplyDeleteMeteor
Yarwood looks stunning.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations.
Doesn't she look good. I bet you feel better now you are moving again!
ReplyDeletelooking good!
ReplyDeleteLooking fine. Don't let the ice take that new blacking off....
ReplyDeleteShe looks very good on the water, I hope you enjoy every minute on her.
ReplyDeleteBrian and Diana
Hi Paul
ReplyDeleteGreat news about a berth for Caxton. We might see Russell en route as we cannot get out of Brum going south until 10th March because of stoppages and we will going the same road.
Lesley
Hi Jo
ReplyDeleteI hope we do meet up again soon, that would be good. We are delighted with how Yarwood has turned out, Steve Lambon of Lambon Boats did a great job in interpreting what we wanted her to look like.
Lesley
Hello the Chancers
ReplyDeleteWe were optimist about Yarwood's lines but now she is in the water we are delighted - well I am, Joe doesn't do 'enthusiasm' much!
Lesley
Hi Meteor
ReplyDeleteCanal Boat magazine is going to do an article on Yarwood - they are coming out mid Feb provided we are free of ice. As for youtube and video's that might be testing my techi 'skills' a bit too far...
Lesley
Hi Amanda
ReplyDeleteYarwood does look good in the ditch, Lambon did a good job in interpreting our requirements - all credit to the hull builders and Stuart Harper who project managed all the stages.
Our move has been rather short lived though as we are iced in tight now...
Lesley
Hi Geooff and Mags
ReplyDeleteNo more movement for a while as we are iced in tight this morning!
Lesley
Thanks Anon, we are chuffed with how things have turned out.
ReplyDeleteLesley
Hi Carol
ReplyDeleteWe think so as well!!1
Lesley
Hi Brian and Diana
ReplyDeleteWe hope so too. Very pleased with how she looks in the water though.
Lesley
Hi
ReplyDeleteI've been following your build with interest, 'Yarwood's' looking just grand in the water. Enjoy her to the full!
best wishes Nick, blogging @ inlanding.wordpress.com
Thanks Nick, glad you have found the build process interesting. We are pleased with Yarwood's looks now she is in the water, or rather, we are MORE pleased now!!
