A wet and windy Sunday

It has been teeming today and now everything is sodden, count dogs, boots and coats in that list, the sun has come out to play.
We had a lazy start today though we were still up early because the dogs are insistent and persistent about getting their breakfast and lay-ins are not going get between a Labrador and his appetite! We watched the F1Grand Prix with it's rather predictable result with Red Ball achieving a one two result...roll on next year when perhaps we will see their supremacy challenged.
Lunch time we went along to The Greyhound for Sunday lunch where we met up with Brian of Nb. Kyle.  The pub has won the 2013 Best Pub award for the Coventry area and as usual it was full and busy.  With so many pubs going bust it's good to see some making a success of their business.  As expected a lovely lunch and a good crack with Brian.
Tomorrow we were going to move on towards Braunston but the weather forecast is for yet another day of rain so we will probably stay here another day and move on Tuesday.
