Hopwas to Fradley Junction

We were not planning to move on today but we had had the visit from Elite Furnishings and the sun was shining so.. we moved off after some deliberation and set out for Fradley Junction.  We had a date to meet with John and Louise of Nb. Blue Moon for Thursday evening but the clever people have been keeping abreast of our movements and texted to suggest we meet tonight at the Mucky Duck (The Swan) at Fradley Junction leaving us tomorrow and Friday to make our way at a leisurely pace to Shugborough Hall for the weekend.

And we are off

 And so are the dogs
An hour into our journey Joe pulled over, throwing me the centre line, so he could duck down into the boat and swap washing over between washer and dryer..

 Approaching Huddlesford Junction

A pair of swans have taken up residence in a newly built nest at the turn-over bridge at Huddlesford

Looking south west from Huddlesford Junction you can clearly see the spires of Lichfield Cathedral

The wind had picked up again so though it was bright and sunny and I was quite comfortable walking Joe was getting a bit chilly.

 Approaching Fradley

Moored up...without wasting mooring space at this honeypot site. We moored bow to bow leaving space for a boat to moor up at our stern should they need to.
